Basil Schultz, Founder
My name is Basil, I am an Alcoholic/ former Cocaine addict and the founder of Rosemary’s House Men’s Recovery Home. I lost both of my parents to addiction and though I desperately wanted to get sober myself going through many rehabs and jails, I couldn’t maintain any sort of long-term sobriety. With the passing of my Mother (Rosemary) from a prescription pill addiction, I realized that I was “history repeating itself” and on the same path of destruction. From that point on, one day at a time, I adopted a much more proactive approach to my recovery and while I will continue to work in the Operating Room at Veterans Administration as a Board-Certified Surgical Technician, I have dedicated my life and time to helping the struggling alcoholic/addict that is trying to help themselves. I am committed to the belief that anyone can recover from addiction, no matter how far life has gotten away from them. Not only do I believe this to my core, but live it, one day at a time.
I share my family’s story of loss and tragedy, so that your family doesn’t have to live it.
