While you are in a sober living home, you will live with other people who are also striving toward long-term sobriety. Being in a supportive environment, surrounded by like-minded people, provides direction and motivation to keep on the path of recovery. Sober living also provides the structure and accountability that is paramount in early sobriety. The method of utilizing “sober living homes” as part of your recovery is proven to be effective and is supported statistically by various empirical studies.
